Options for Giving

There are several ways you can make a gift to the PRCN Foundation.

Current Gifts: Current gifts are tax-deductible and can be in the form of cash, securities, personal property, or real estate. They are immediately available to the Foundation and can be designated for the program and community you wish to support.

Pledges: In lieu of a current gift, you may pledge a gift for the future. A pledge may be honored monthly, quarterly or annually for a specific period of time.

Bequests: A bequest in a will, insurance policy or other estate plan can be very useful in carrying out charitable intentions. By naming the PRCN Foundation in your will, you will leave a legacy that will benefit older adults served by PRCN for years to come. Bequests are revocable and may be made for specific dollar amounts, a percentage of an estate or the residual value of an estate.

Planned Gifts: Planned Gifts are gifts of cash, appreciated securities or real estate that are transferred to an irrevocable trust that provides lifetime income to the donor. A Charitable Gift Annuity offers a lifetime fixed payment to you or another designated individual. In most cases, part of each payment is tax-free, and you may qualify for a federal income tax charitable contribution deduction. After the lifetime of the annuitant, the PRCN Foundation will receive your gift to use according to your wishes. This is a creative way of supporting PRCN in the future while meeting your present needs.

Memorial and Honorarium Gifts: Residents and/or their family and friends can honor a birthday, an anniversary, a special achievement or the memory of a loved one with a memorial or honorarium gift to Exeter House or Park Shore.

All gifts are acknowledged upon receipt and used only for the purposes designated.
